homefort, a young company from Saarbrücken, was founded in 2015 and was brought to the market in spring 2016. The start-up offers customers smart-home-networking including alarm system, installation, maintenance, customer service and a 24/7 h link to the emergency control centre at a flat rate fee.

homefort’s range is aimed at single-family homes, retailers and self-employed persons. “homefort wants to offer all German households affordable smart-home-security solutions from one source, because the sense of security should never be a question of money,” says Oliver Kremers, founder and CEO of homefort. Customers can choose from three security packages ranging from EUR 39.90 to EUR 79.90 per month. An alarm system starter package will be made available for the contract period. The start-up company develops individual emergency plans together with the customer.
