Cookies is a Berlin-based FinTech startup, set to develop Europe’s fastest and most secure P2P payment app. By killing off ATMs, IBANs and BICs, we make money transfers become fast and natural, offering an incredibly convenient way to transfer money between friends via phone number or email address.
It works with all German banks. No additional bank accounts needed. Instead, money is transferred directly from bank account to bank account, allowing users to send and receive payments frictionlessly.
Cookies also got rid of reference texts. Instead, we introduced Paymojis. With Cookies we turn payments into communication.
All payments are handled by Cookies’ partner bank, the DKB AG, Germany’s most innovative direct bank. Each payment is confirmed via fingerprint or individual Cookies-PIN and sensitive data is safely stored and highly encrypted on the smartphone.
