Perun is a spin-off from TU Darmstadt working on cutting-edge technology in the blockchain space. We believe that the Perun Channel Technology provides core infrastructure to enable the mass adoption of blockchains.

Current blockchains suffer from scalability and privacy issues. Our Channel Technology solves these issues by taking transactions off-chain, resulting in instant high-volume transactions. The security of the underlying protocols is backed by research presented at top-tier cryptography conferences. Our solution is not bound to any particular blockchain, thus delivering channel technology to a broad range of blockchain networks.

Our product possesses a high degree of relevance for applications in key sectors of the German industry as well as on a global scale. These include in particular Industry 4.0 and the digitisation of critical infrastructures such as the power grid.
