Who are we?

StudySmarter is a Munich EdTech Start-up striving to truly digitalize the learning process! We're currently a team of 15 and are accepted into the Axel Springer Plug and Play Accelerator as well as the EY Start-up Academy. We have completed our prototype, which automatically generates Mind-Maps from uploaded PDFs.

Why does the World need us?

Nearly every part of our lives has been transformed by the digital revolution, yet education and the learning process remained virtually the same over the last decades. University students still sit in the libraries for hours on end, without any objective overview over their progress and efficiency. Understandably, this is frustrating and ruins the university experience for many, resulting in high drop-out rates!

What is StudySmarter?

StudySmarter is an e-Learning platform that supports students throughout the entire learning process. Students can simply upload their lecture material on our platform and access automatically generated Smart Studying Content - Mind Maps, Summaries, Quizzes - within seconds, eliminating the need for manual creation. The content is generated by our intelligent StudySmarter Algorithm based on Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing and a cooperation with IBM Watson. Additionally, we employ Statistics and Gamification Features to increase the transparency of the user's commitment and progress, raising the learning motivation and the achieved results. Based on the students studying habits and interests, we recommend the ideal internship and entry-level positions!
